High-performance cover grades for cement applications
To combat thermal aging and heavy abrasive wear, our engineers have formulated advanced synthetic elastomer compounds — built for the heat of the kiln and the weight of the quarry.
Talk to our belting expertsEngineered for thermal aging & abrasive wear
Two synthetic elastomer compounds, each tuned to a different point on the heat curve found across a cement plant.
MCI SHR T2
peak loads up to 180°C
Excellent resistance to abrasion, cover cracking, and thermal hardening.
Suitable for limestone handling, raw meal, crushed shale, and warm clinker transport lines.
MCI SHR T3 / UHR
peak exposure up to 220°C
Manufactured with 100% EPDM synthetic rubber for maximum resistance to structural heat degradation and carcass elongation.
Designed for red-hot clinker discharge, bucket elevators, cooler discharge lines, and hot sinter conveying.
Technical features for maximum uptime
Low-stretch fabric carcass
Multi-ply EP (Polyester/Nylon) or NN (Nylon/Nylon) fabrics ensure high tensile strength and minimal belt elongation under heavy vertical loads.
High cut & gouge resistance
Specially reinforced covers resist surface penetration from sharp limestone lumps and hardened clinker chunks.
Heat-dampening cover thickness
Custom top and bottom cover thicknesses engineered to dissipate internal thermal buildup before it reaches the fabric carcass.
Elevator & steep-incline belting
Heavy-duty rubber belting engineered for high-capacity bucket elevators in silo and kiln circuits.
Cement plant conveyor applications
Crushing & quarrying
Transporting raw limestone, clay, and shale from primary crushers.
Pre-homogenization & raw mill
Feed belts for grinding mills, coal powder handling, and additive dosing.
Kiln & clinker cooler area
Transporting red-hot clinker from coolers to storage silos.
Packing & dispatch
Heavy-duty belts for cement bag handling, palletizers, and bulk wagon loading.
